Parking information: Parking will be available in the faculty lot off of Harding Avenue. The main entrance to the Basecamp event will be through the entryway from the parking lot. In the event that this lot is full, there is plenty of street parking along 19th and 20th Avenue, but entry to the program will be through the faculty parking lot. Please keep an eye out for the event signs leading to the entrance.

Each session will feature three topics. Topics will repeat, meaning you can attend all three conversations. Expedition Guides facilitate, coach, and mentor each session. Contact us directly if you are interested in acting as a Guide at one of our Basecamps.

Expedition questions: How do we incorporate critical thinking strategies into all classrooms and content areas? What are the challenges of individualized (or personalized) learning? What can we do to be more inclusive in challenge-based, problem-based, project-based, inquiry-based, place-based, culture-based learning with subjects like philosophy, ethics, sociology and similar courses? How do we make higher level thinking subjects like philosophy and ethics more accessible to all students?
